CBL 16: New G.A.S. VIdeo

Posted on Apr 24th, 2006 by Jordan : LightWriter Jordan
[Click on this image for streaming Quicktime version, or scroll down for streaming Flash version!] I've had 3 days of bouncing for 45 minutes in a row or more outdoors. The Garden Hat-Trick, as it were. On the first day, I recorded myself on a SONY PDX 10, using just the built-in microphone. Notwithstanding the background noise of children playing, I'm pleased with the resulting 5 minute movie that I managed to make of the "Great Alchemical Sequence," which I have already spoken of several times throughout this blog. It's 5 minutes long and will give you a good idea of some of what I actually do while I'm chibounding every day. There's some music in the background, along with the kids playing, etc. I have gotten some feedback that it's hard to hear me; don't worry, I promise to make more video available that is intelligble, and to post it on Zaadz NEW Flash Video Options There are now 2 Flash options to se the G.A.S. video (note that the best QuickTime version below gives highest-quality playback). First, you may be able to scroll down, see the movie, and stream it directly below if you have Flash Player 8 installed. Click on the play arrow in the lower left corner to get it started. Second, you can download the Flash movie with its own built-in player here: Windows version or the Mac version You can download Flash Player 8 for Macintosh and also for Windows. QuickTime Versions and .WMV Version You can pick from one of three levels of QuickTime movies, or one that works with Windows Media Player. It's most fun watching in the highest Quicktime resolution you are willing to download! Here they are:

* Best Quicktime version, 29 MB
* Medium Quicktime version, 11 MB
* Lowest Quicktime Version, 3.7 MB
* Windows Media Version, 38 MB

Please enjoy. I'm having fun here, and I hope you are too, and that you will seriously (and non-seriously) consider giving rebounding a chance some day.... (Honestly, the older I get, the harder and harder it becomes for me to find ways to move my body this freely and enjoyably,)

Glad you like it! I’m planning on bouncing nearly every day until I’m 97, then ratcheting it down a notch.

Very cool, Jordan! Thanks for offering the easy access on your blog, I just clicked play and there you were, playing…

I could hear the Wilburys in the background, too.

I'm so glad you are doing these videos, it adds tremendously to your messages and will give people a feel as to the true beauty and grace of chibouncing.

I couldn't help but smile watching you.

Bounce on! You are truly an inspiration.

Inspiration,
then Knowledge,
then Love,
then Will,
then Spirit…

Of course, you can do the sequence in any order you want, but this is the one I’m still trying to get down (and up)!

Awesome Jordan, absolutely. I love the contrast. You in your rythm and flow and the chaos in the background. (sound wise)  I second what Jodi said above too, it was just nice to click and play. Great use of technology.

Laura

Thank you, so much, Laura, for your nice comment.

Let me say, first, that I will be putting up more rebounding without the kids in the background. They were just there, and I guess it does demonstrate that chibouncing is the kind of thing that you can decide to do in a lot of different kinds of circumstances.

Second, I’m glad you liked the technology, but I didn’t do it alone. Ghost, whose Zaadz page is at http://satori.zaadz.com/ helped me do most of the technical work of getting a flash movie to play within the site window. (Ghost helps me on Enlightenment.com as well).

Thanks again, and let me know if you have any questions.

warmly,

Jordan
